Vacherin Fribourgeois AOP Mountain

The clean mountain air and the floral aromas of the high pasture lands are reflected in the milk, which in turn lends the BERG variety its rich, characteristic flavours.

 

It is floral and full-bodied when young, but after a few months’ maturation, it develops a full, creamy and mature flavour. It is ideal as a dessert cheese and tastes fantastic with slices of apple, chestnuts or nuts.
