Cheese toast on gingerbread with Etivaz AOP and chicory

Ingredients

Serves 4

  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 crushed garlic clove
  • 4 mini chicory, leaves
  • 8 gingerbread slices
  • 4 slices Etivaz AOP
  • Salt, pepper

Preparation

  1. Melt butter in a frying pan. Add garlic and chicory leaves and sauté for around 5 mins until the leaves wilt. Season to taste with salt and pepper and put aside.
  2. Toast gingerbread slices lightly in toaster. Place one slice of Etivaz AOP and chicory leaves on half of the slices. Cover with the rest of the slices and fix with a toothpick.
  3. Serve on plates.
