dough:
- 150 g of soft butter
- 1 tsp of salt
- 150 g of grated, spicy Gruyère
- 50 mL of water
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 knife point of baking powder
- 250 g of flour

dough:

1 Mix the butter, salt, cheese, water and egg yolk thoroughly. Mix the flour and baking powder and add. Using a ladle or a dough scraper, bond into a dough. Do not knead. Shape into rolls and put in the fridge for a few hours.

2 Cut the rolls into 5 mm thick slices and lay on the baking paper lining in a baking tin. Bake for approx. 10 mins. in the oven, preheated to 180°C.

Sprinkle with caraway seed shortly before serving, according to taste.
