Ingredients

serves 4

  • salad sauce:
  • 3 tbs of herb vinegar
  • 2 tsp of mustard
  • salt, pepper
  • 5 tbs of rapeseed oil
  • 300 g of medium hard or hard alpine pasture cheese such as a young Berner Alpkäse AOC, diced
  • 1 medium sized branch of celery, sliced
  • 2-3 cervelats, peeled, halved lengthwise, sliced
  • 1 red onion, cut into thin wedges

Preparation

  1. Stir all the ingredients together for the salad sauce.
  2. Mix the cheese, celery, cervelats, apples and onions into the sauce.
  3. Serve the salad in a bowl or directly on plates.
