Ingredients

serves 4

  • 1 round baking tin 28-30 cm Ø
  • butter for the baking tin
  • 1 circle of rolled out cake dough of about 230 g
  • topping:
  • 2 bunches of spring onions, cut into thin rings
  • 1-2 tsp of caraway seed
  • 150 g of freshly grated Gruyère
  • pepper from a mill
  • sauce:
  • 125 g of cream quark
  • 100 mL of milk
  • 2 eggs
  • salt
  • pepper from a mill
  • spring onions cut into strips for garnish

Preparation

  1. 1 Lay the dough in the buttered baking tin.
  2. 2 Pierce holes in the pastry dough base with a fork. Mix together the onions, caraway seed and cheese. Season and spread on the pastry dough base.
  3. 3 Stir together all the ingredients for the sauce and pour on. Bake for 20-25 mins. on the lowest shelf of the oven, preheated to 240°C.
