Valais Raclette AOP is a 100% natural product – from the cows’ feed, to the processing of the unpasteurised milk, to the care it receives in the maturing cellar. This matchless cheese is unique thanks to its ‘terroir’, its history and its regional identification, which is embossed on the outer edge. The abundant flora of the Valais mountain and Alpine regions gives Valais Raclette AOP its unique fresh and tangy taste with many flavour variations. The cheese was awarded the Protected Designation of Origin label ‘AOP’ in October 2007.
