The new Emmental AOP URTYP® is characterised by its particularly robust flavour, its outstanding quality and the unique ageing process. It is never matured for less than twelve months, with at least seven of those months spent in a special humid ageing cellar. During the ripening process, each wheel of cheese undergoes three strict inspections by our cheese sommeliers and is only approved for sale if it satisfies the highest standards and has achieved the typical original taste. Not only it is elemental in flavour, but like every Emmental AOP it is also very palatable and above all healthy: rich in calcium and vitamins (A, D, B2, B12) and at the same time low in salt and naturally lactose-free.
